Electronic Signature

An electronic signature is a computer data compilation of any symbol or series of symbols, executed, adopted or authorized by an individual and intended to be the legally binding equivalent of the individual's handwritten signature. The electronic signature identifies and authenticates a particular person as the source of the electronic document and indicates such person's approval of the information contained in the document.
When a user electronically signs a form submitted to the system, the user is agreeing to be legally bound to the same extent as if a traditional handwritten signature is affixed.

Filing Date

A form submitted to this system is considered filed on the date of the electronic postmark given by the system and will be maintained on the system for a period of 5 years.
